Graphic novel-inspired tactical RPG Wintermoor Tactics Club will arrive on consoles next month.
Tactical RPG Wintermoor Tactics Club is making its way to consoles next month. The game will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Developed by independent game developer EVC and published by Versus Evil, Wintermoor Tactics Club is a tactical RPG in an interesting setting. The game takes place in a high school during the 1980s. As a member of the Tactics Club, players will create their own tabletop campaigns aimed at helping others within the club overcome their issues. There are seven playable characters and dozens of battles to enjoy throughout Wintermoor Academy.
Wintermoor Tactics Club features gameplay inspired by classic tactical RPGs and visual novels. The developers intend the game to be both witty and lighthearted in tone. “Wintermoor is really accessible for first-time tactics game players, with a puzzle-like take on the tactics combat, while at the same time giving long-time players a charming challenge to sink their teeth into,” said Steve Escalante, GM of Versus Evil. “After launching on Steam and receiving a lot of love for the game, we’re excited to present this wonderfully funny, wholesome RPG experience to console players around the world.”
Wintermoor Tactics Club will release for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch consoles on Thursday, September 10, 2020. The game initially launched for PC on May 5, 2020. It is currently available on Steam and GOG.com for $14.99. To learn more about the game, head over to the Wintermoor Tactics Club website.
