Warhammer: Vemintide 2 is getting a physical edition for consoles. The multi-million selling rat-smashing simulator has been granted a true blessing of Sigmar. It will be available in stores, for both PS4 and Xbox One, on June 11.
Developers Fatshark has partnered with 505 Games to bring this physical version of the game to stores. The physical Deluxe Edition will contain new premium content and both previously released DLCs, Shadows Over Bögenhafen and Back to Ubersreik. This includes tailored missions in the form of Heroic Deeds, character skins, portrait frames, and the Sigmar Keep Statue.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is one of my favorite games of recent years. While the first one set a great tone for the series, the mission design in the most recent outing elevates it. Playing with friends is an absolute joy, as you fight your way through the levels. Picking from five different heroes, you do battle in four-player co-op, taking the fight to the forces of evil. The sneaky Skaven and brutal Chaos forces will do everything in their power to stop you.
You can use a massive variety of weapons and other loot to increase your stats and become able to take on harder and harder challenges. Each character also has access to three different subclasses, which provide a range of playstyles. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 gives me the same type of fun and enjoyment I used to get from Left 4 Dead. Being set in the Warhammer universe also means we get a fantastic setting with tremendous depth.
The physical edition will be available for both PS4 and Xbox One in retail stores on Tuesday, June 11, priced at £39.99/€49.99/$49.99. I do strongly urge you to take a good look at this game. It is absolutely some of the best co-op fun you can have in gaming at the moment.
