Warframe is filled with glorious Prime Warframes for you to collect, but from time to time they are whisked away into the Prime Vault. The good news is that the Prime Vault will periodically open up, allowing you to farm one of the rare Primes. On July 16, the creaky door of the Prime Vault will once again open, and Nyx Prime and Rhino Prime will be available.
Both Primes will be able to be farmed from Relics in-game, which you earn from doing missions, or from Relic Packs from Syndicates. You can, if you wish, purchase the special Prime Packs that will be available from the Warframe website.
July 16 Prime Vault Packs
Starting July 16, there will be five Prime Packs available for sale, all with different contents. There are plenty of options to cover the different Warframes, weapons, and cosmetics that will be available. You can buy everything in one big pack, or go for smaller packs more suited to what you need. Digital Extremes are once again making packs available that have only the accessories for those who have already farmed the Primes and weapons.
If you do not have Rhino Prime, I would strongly urge you to get his pack, or farm for him. He is an incredibly strong and tanky Warframe that can get through any of the game’s endgame content. Nyx is not hugely strong right now, but I expect a rework for her at some point in the future to buff her a bit.

The Prime Vault opens on July 16 for PC and Xbox One. For PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, the Vault will open on July 16 in North and South America, July 17 in Asia and Europe, and July 19 in Japan. The Vault will close on September 17 for PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. For PlayStation 4 players, the Vault will close on September 17 in North and South America, September 18 in Europe and Asia, and September 19 in Japan.
