Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series to Release Physical Retail Edition for PlayStation VR

A special retail edition of the Vader Immortal series will be available for PS VR owners this spring.

Developer ILMxLAB has teamed up with publisher Perp Games to launch a special retail edition of Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series for PlayStation VR this spring. The retail edition will include an exclusive digital artbook, rare video footage, physical postcards, and other goodies.

“Here at ILMxLAB we are excited to team up with Perp Games for the Special Retail Edition of Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series,” said ILMxLAB Producer, Harvey Whitney. “It’s great to be able to bring our award-winning immersive story about one of the most iconic villains of all time to even more Star Wars fans, with unique and fun extras to enjoy. We are all looking forward to seeing it in stores later this Spring.”

Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series initially released for the Oculus Quest and Rift systems in 2019 and eventually launched for PlayStation VR in 2020. In the three-episode series, players take on the role of a Force-sensitive smuggler who is tasked with finding and retrieving an ancient artifact for Darth Vader himself.

Although ILMxLAB did not specify a release date, we do know that the special retail edition of Vader Immortal for PS VR will release sometime this spring. Pricing has not yet been announced. Stay tuned to Guide Stash for further updates.
