Ubisoft recently announced that Rainbow Six: Siege will soon be making its way over to Ghost Recon Breakpoint in a special crossover event titled Operation Amber Sky. During the free event, players will be able to partake in nine new story missions that involve teaming up with various Siege Operators.

Operation Amber Sky is a live event in Ghost Recon Breakpoint that will release as part of Title Update 3.10. The update will be available for free to all Breakpoint players on January 19, 2021. Upon completing the first of the new missions, players will gain access to Siege Operators Ash, Finka, and Thatcher as deployable characters. The live event will introduce new gas-filled areas to Breakpoint, prompting a new survival mechanic that involves wearing and maintaining gas masks.
Special weapons and rewards are up for grabs to those who complete all nine missions. The crossover event adds over 120 new customization items to Breakpoint, including full Rainbow Six: Siege Operator skins.
Players looking to try out the game for free can do so during a special free weekend that will coincide with the crossover event. Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be free to download and play from January 21-24 on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as on PC and Stadia. New players who partake in the free weekend will get to enjoy all of the content in Breakpoint, including the Operation Amber Sky crossover event.
