Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint has just received its biggest update yet. Title Update 2.0 released today, March 24, introducing loads of new content to the game. The update brings a new story adventure to Ghost Recon Breakpoint, along with two new classes and a new free mode called The Ghost Experience.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint Title Update 2.0
Ghost Recon Breakpoint Episode 2 introduces eight new story missions that allow players to team up with Sam Fisher, the iconic protagonist from the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell series. This means there’s also some new Splinter Cell-themed rewards up for grabs. The narrative adventure adds stealth gameplay as well as cinematics voiced by Michael Ironside to Breakpoint. All players can play the first mission for free. All Year One Pass owners can play the full adventure or purchase the adventure separately as a standalone.
The update also introduces two new classes to Breakpoint: the Echelon class and the Engineer class. The Echelon class is built to be stealthy, while the Engineer is proficient with grenade launchers and excels at taking down drones. The two classes are available in both PvP and PvE modes in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Four new maps and map voting have been added to PvP as well.
Finally, Title Update 2.0 brings with it a new free mode for all players called The Ghost Experience. The immersive game mode offers more tactical gameplay options while removing gear levels and tiered loot. This mode features improved customization and a more intuitive, realistic loot system.
Today’s update is the biggest update to hit Breakpoint, coming in at a hefty 30 GB on Xbox One, 17 GB on PS4, and 15.5 GB on PC. New players can try their hand at Breakpoint during the game’s free weekend, which runs from March 26 to March 29 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
