theHunter: Call of the Wild continues to get more DLC for players to dig into. This time out, the High-Tech Hunting Pack will give players plenty of options to hunt in the dark with some night-vision enabled gadgets will make utilizing the full 24-hour in-game clock more viable.
High-Tech Hunting Pack
Players can look to the High-Tech Hunting Pack to give them more options to hunt at night, but the pack is also giving some love to bows in the form of a new bow sight equipped with a rangefinder. The Brightsight Rangefinder Bow Sight should help players who want to hunt with a bow but struggle with the distance to make more accurate shots, helping to mix up the game meta just slightly. This site should fit on every bow in the game, including the new CB-65 Compound Bow.
The High-Tech Hunting Pack will include the following:
- The Koter CB-65 Compound Bow
- GenZero 8X50 Night Vision Binoculars
- GenZero 1-4×20 Night Vision Rifle Scope
- Brightsight Rangefinder Bow Sight
- Tracer arrows
- A new TruRACS animal, Roe Deer (Free)
For those hunters like myself that tend to sleep through the night and wake up at the crack of dawn, it promises to be a whole new game with the GenZero 8X50 Night Vision Binoculars and GenZero 1-4×20 Night Vision Rifle Scope. Seeing at night will allow players to hunt in ways that they couldn’t before. Night vision might seem a bit unrealistic to some, but developers were quick to point out that their game is a global experience, meaning just because hunting laws in one region don’t allow night vision, doesn’t mean you can use it in another. Also, it’s just a game, so anyone offended by this pack should simply, you know, not buy it.
The High-Tech Hunting Pack is available now through the game’s Steam page, and you can follow along with more theHunter: Call of the Wild content by sticking with Guide Stash.
