Sims Sessions In-Game Music Festival Kicks Off Next Week

The virtual music event will take place in The Sims 4 and will feature several artists including Bebe Rexha.

Today, Electronic Arts announced Sims Sessions, the first music festival to take place within The Sims. The virtual music event kicks off next week in The Sims 4 and continues into July. The festival features Grammy-nominated pop star Bebe Rexha, who will perform her newest song “Sabotage” in Simlish during the event. Also taking to the digital stage is Glass Animals lead singer Dave Bayley as well as singer, songwriter, and producer Joy Oladokun.

Sims Sessions Start and End Dates

The Sims Sessions music festival will take place within The Sims 4 starting June 29 at 10:00 a.m. PDT and ending July 7 at 10:00 p.m. PDT. The event is completely free, but you will need a copy of The Sims 4 to join in on the festivities. Luckily, you can pick up The Sims 4 on Steam right now for just under five dollars during the Steam Summer Sale.

The festival marks the first time songs will be performed in Simlish, the fictional language used throughout The Sims franchise. Those looking to test out their Simlish skills can participate in the Simlish Sessions virtual karaoke challenge taking place on TikTok. Participants can share side-by-side duets with Bebe Rexha for a chance to be re-posted by the artist.

“I’ve always been a fan of how The Sims empowers players to express their creativity with others in the game,” said Bebe Rexha. “Sims Sessions will be a fun experience for fans from around the world to enjoy music and hang with friends in a way that only The Sims can offer.”

Alongside virtual performances, attendees of Sims Sessions can also look forward to mingling in a virtual festival space where they can shop for digital merchandise and camp out with other festival-goers during the week-long event. To find out more, visit the Sims Sessions page on The Sims website.
