Nintendo may have just blown the lid right off of E3 2019 with the ending to the Nintendo Direct briefing. In true “and one more thing” fashion, Nintendo ended its stream by giving us a first look at the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
This announcement couldn’t have come at a better time. For those that have been listening to the Push to Talk podcast, you’ll know that I’m planning on spending the next few weeks diving into Breath of the Wild for the first time. Yes, I know, better late than never.
All the excitement of this announcement is palpable, even to those that have never played Breath of the Wild before.

No further details regarding when the sequel might see the light of day, what it’s about, or even what its name may be, are available at this time. Judging by the trailer, however, things are in dire straits and clearly will require our help to set right. We’re excited, as everyone else is, and can’t wait to find out more information about this now confirmed sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
