The Last of Us Part 2 Release Date Reveal Trailer
The three-minute-long trailer begins with Ellie and her newfound life. A quiet, snowy, almost typical winter scene leads to new routine tasks as Ellie rides out on patrol. It doesn’t seem long before tragedy strikes, and Ellie is once again struck by tragedy. She sets out to seek revenge as the trailer shows her begin a journey on her own. We get to see a variety of locales ranging from dark forests to once busy streets of a large city. Along the way, Ellie seems to struggle to maintain her composure as she presses onwards. We also get to see some of The Last of Us Part 2’s significantly more significant amount of violence, something Naughty Dog won’t apologize for.

This is where the trailer gets a little bit spoilery, so those of you that want to experience things naturally may need to stop here. Though you’ll probably need to get off the Internet until next year to avoid this.
Naughty Dog takes the covers off a big surprise with the reveal of Joel returning to The Last of Us Part 2. By the looks of it, he’ll join Ellie on her adventure, stating, “You think I’d let you do this on your own?”
If you think February 21, 2020, looks so very far away, you’ll be happy to learn that The Last of Us Remastered will be released for free in October for PlayStation Plus subscribers. There’s no better time to catch up or experience Ellie and Joel’s adventure for the first time as you get ready for The Last of Us Part 2.
