Slime Rancher fans have been eagerly awaiting the release date for Slime Rancher 2 ever since the sequel was announced at E3 2021. During the Xbox and Bethesda Extended Showcase on Tuesday, developer Monomi Park revealed the release window for Slime Rancher 2 in a brief gameplay preview video, available below. The showcase revealed that Slime Rancher 2 will release this fall and will arrive day one on Xbox Game Pass.

Slime Rancher 2 continues the slime-wrangling journey of Beatrix LeBeau as she ventures across the Slime Sea to a new region called Rainbow Island. The official Slime Rancher 2 Summer Preview offers a look at this new location and the slimes that inhabit it.

Although we didn’t get a solid release date, it won’t be long until fans can get back to ranchin’ slimes. Slime Rancher 2 will release on Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store this fall.
