Ruined King Gameplay Trailer
Ruined King is a single-player, turn-based RPG set in the League of Legends universe. Players will explore Bilgewater and unearth the mystery behind the ominous Black Mist throughout the Shadow Isles in Runeterra. The trailer offers a first look at these locations in-game.
Traps, puzzles, and enemies await players on their journey ahead in Ruined King. It seems that players will organize a party composed of various League Champions, including Miss Fortune, Braum, Ahri, and others. Each Champion comes equipped with their own Dungeon Skills, which are used for interacting with the environment in unique ways during exploration. The trailer also showcased some of the game’s turn-based combat in action. The trailer concluded with a quick glimpse of the Ruined King himself, shrouded in a whirlwind of lightning.
Riot Forge is developing Ruined King alongside Airship Syndicate, the team behind Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Darksiders Genesis. The gameplay certainly shows some resemblance to Nightwar, particularly in its art style and combat design.
