Red Wings: Aces of the Sky is a historically based aerial combat simulator. In it, players get to pilot iconic warplanes from The First World War and take part in intense aerial dogfights against the opposition. Fighter pilots can gain an edge during combat by using unique skills and stat upgrades. If you were hoping to have a co-pilot, you’re in luck, because the game also supports local co-op for up to two players.

The colorful, cartoon-like art style and modern arcade gameplay make for an exciting flight sim that doubles as a fun history lesson. Throughout the game’s 50 campaign missions, players will learn the story of the Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen, while also reading actual quotes from WWI pilots. You can either assist the Red Baron or make him an enemy, depending on whether you side with the Entente Powers or Triple Alliance. The game offers separate campaigns for both sides, adding replay value to this already engaging military flight sim.

Red Wings: Aces of the Sky is available on Nintendo Switch for $19.99. However, the game is currently discounted to $17.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game will come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam later in 2020. Check out the Red Wings: Aces of the Sky website for additional details and updates.
