IO Interactive, the creators behind the Hitman franchise, have announced that they have a new James Bond game in the works. The game currently goes by the working title Project 007 and is being made in collaboration with MGM, EON Productions, and Delphi. You’ll find the latest teaser trailer below.

Project 007 will feature an original narrative that delves into the origin story of James Bond for the first time in video games. Project 007 will be powered by IO Interactive’s proprietary Glacier technology, which was also used for the Hitman games. The game is being developed for modern systems and platforms, according to IO Interactive’s announcement.
“Creating an original Bond game is a monumental undertaking and I truly believe that IO Interactive, working closely with our creative partners at EON and MGM, can deliver something extremely special for our players and communities,” said Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive. “Our passionate team is excited to unleash their creativity into the iconic James Bond universe and craft the most ambitious game in the history of our studio.”
