The Pokémon GO Community Day for April will shower trainers with a surprise. Starting April 13, you will be able to catch the Dragon-type Pokémon, Bagon, along with its Shiny Variant.
Bagon is the second Dragon-type Pokémon to appear during a Pokémon GO Community Day event. The first Dragon-type Pokémon to appear was Dratini. Trainers are equally excited that Bagon was chosen for the Pokémon GO Community Day for April.

The additional bonuses that will be available during this Pokémon GO Community Day are, of course, three-hour Lures and three-times catch experience. This is also a great time to use a Lucky Egg, as it will double any experience you gain.
The Shiny Variant of Bagon can also be seen during the event and is easily identified by its green color. Players can evolve Bagon into Shelgon for 25 Bagon candy, and then finally into Salamence for 100 Bagon candy. Bagon and Shelgon are pure Dragon-type Pokémon, but once evolved into Salamence, it becomes the dual-type Dragon and Flying Pokémon.
Salamence will also know a move that it normally doesn’t know during this Pokémon GO Community Event, but that information has not been released yet. If we follow the pattern that Niantic has set, it could be Draco Meteor, or we could be surprised with Outrage. Salamence will know the exclusive move Outrage.
Keep in mind that the event times for Pokémon GO Community Day are from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. This time change took effect during the Pokémon GO Community Day for March.
During this Pokémon GO Community Event, trainers will be Bagon about how excited they are. To keep up with all things Pokémon, head over to the Pokémon GO Event page.
