Build your legacy and learn the art of negotiation in the turn-based strategy game Plebby Quest: The Crusades.

After more than nine years of development, turn-based strategy game Plebby Quest: The Crusades has officially launched on PC. Developed by PiedPipers Team and published by NEOWIZ, Plebby Quest challenges players to build their empire amidst a world of ambitious rulers vying for power. The game is available now on Steam.

As the name suggests, Plebby Quest: The Crusades takes place during the crusades of Europe and the Middle East. You must negotiate with neighboring kingdoms while building a legacy of your own to cement your place in history. Your goal is to do what it takes to survive while constructing a lasting empire that stands the test of time.

The game’s hand-drawn art style and cheeky wit make for a quaint adventure that is otherwise filled with political manipulation and intrigue. Two game modes are available at launch: Scenario and Sandbox. The former lets you follow a character’s storyline, while the latter allows you to build your empire without limitations.

According to the game’s Steam page, Plebby Quest also features a dynamic decision-making system where the consequences of your decisions have a lasting impact, even on future playthroughs. Neighboring kingdoms will remember your actions, so make your moves carefully. Religion is also a guiding factor for many during this time, which means you may have to prove your faith to other kingdoms if you want to get in their good graces.  The game also features a robust combat system with a variety of troop types that each feature their own unique personalities.

Plebby Quest: The Crusades is out now on Steam for $19.99. However, players who purchase the game before April 15 can take advantage of the 20% off promotion, which marks the game down to $15.99. Check out the gameplay trailer above for a closer look at Plebby Quest: The Crusades.
