Zookeepers will soon have the chance to send their park visitors down under in Planet Zoo thanks to the upcoming Planet Zoo: Australia Pack DLC. The Australia Pack will release alongside a free content update that brings new features and gameplay adjustments to Planet Zoo. Both the Australia Pack and free update will arrive on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.

The Planet Zoo: Australia Pack introduces several new animal species to the game. These include the Dingo, Red Kangaroo, Koala, Southern Cassowary, and Eastern Blue-Tongued Lizard. New foliage and construction pieces based on various Australian environments will be available as well. New timed challenges await players looking to race other zookeepers to complete various objectives.
Like the previous paid DLC packs for Planet Zoo, the Australia Pack will cost $9.99 on Steam and the Frontier Store. Players must own the Planet Zoo base game in order to download and play the Australia Pack.
Update 1.3
Alongside the Australia Pack comes a free content update for all Planet Zoo players. The main highlights of Update 1.3 are as follows:
- New genetics-driven animal color variations
- A new Animal Food Management page
- A new Sandbox Map featuring a new landscape
- A free Timed Scenario in Estonia
- Vending Machines
- Multi-select added to the Staff Management UI
