The demo has an estimated playtime of about three hours and will consist of the entire opening chapter of the Outriders campaign. Four classes will be available, including Pyromancer, Devastator, Trickster, and Technomancer. Campaign progress made in the demo will transfer over to the full game, as long as it’s on the same platform.
The Outriders demo will also feature full crossplay support, meaning players can experience the demo with friends regardless of the platform. However, crossplay will be disabled by default, so be sure to enable it in the settings menu once the demo goes live.
The Outriders team also released a nifty video covering ten reasons to play the Outriders demo, which you can watch on YouTube.
The Outriders demo goes live on February 25, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. PT and will be free for all players. The demo will be available on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and GeForce Now. As for the game itself, Outriders will launch on April 1, 2021 for the previously mentioned platforms as well as on Google Stadia.
