NHL 22 Gameplay Video Discusses Passing, Reverse Hits, Frostbite Engine and More

The latest NHL 22 video features nearly half an hour of new overhead gameplay footage.

On Wednesday, EA Sports released a new gameplay video for NHL 22, which is set to release next month. The video features 27 minutes of overhead gameplay footage, with commentary from two of the game’s developers. You can check out the new footage in the video below.

The extended gameplay video includes commentary from Ben Ross and Tyson Sawatzki, two gameplay producers on NHL 22. Throughout the video, the pair answer questions from the community and offer insights into various gameplay aspects, including changes to passing, new stick physics, and the impact of the new Frostbite engine. The overhead gameplay video features the abridged version of the developer interview. The full Q&A is over an hour long, and you can listen to the full audio on YouTube.
