NHL 22 just got more stylish thanks to a recent clothing collaboration announced today by Electronic Arts. Renowned streetwear clothing brand STAPLE is partnering with Sherwood Hockey to make a new hockey streetwear clothing line. NHL 22 players can not only get the new duds in-game, but also have the chance to obtain real-world items from the collection.
While the in-person Sherwood x Staple Pigeon streetwear collection launches on December 2, NHL 22 players have a chance to sport the new gear in-game several days in advance. Players can get digital versions of the hockey streetwear for free by logging into the World of Chel mode from now until December 14, 2021.
The Staple Pigeon x Sherwood clothing collection includes hoodies, hats, gloves, and other items inspired by STAPLE founder and creative director jeffstaple’s love of hockey. “Hockey was one of my first true passions as goalie mask designs blew my mind and led to me picking up the sport as a kid & ultimately playing through college,” said jeffstaple. “It’s a full-circle moment for me to now be collaborating with Sherwood Hockey, which was my preferred brand as a player. Creating the first ever legitimate hockey x streetwear collaboration is a childhood dream come true.”
Log in to NHL 22 before December 14 to grab gear from the collaboration while it lasts. Those interested in the real-world clothing collection can head over to the Staple Pigeon website for more details.
