NASCAR Heat 5 Races Onto PS4, Xbox One, and PC in July

Race to the finish line against 40 online opponents when NASCAR Heat 5 releases this summer.

Officially licensed racing game NASCAR Heat 5 will pull up on consoles and PC this summer. The release date announcement comes alongside a debut trailer narrated by iconic NASCAR caster, Ken Squier.

Developed by 704Games and published by Motorsport Games, NASCAR Heat 5 offers an immersive racing experience featuring cars driven by some of NASCAR’s legendary racers, including Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch, and Kevin Harvick.

There are 34 North American race tracks to choose from in NASCAR Heat 5. Players have the option to enjoy a single-player racing experience or face off against opponents in an online multiplayer mode that supports up to 40 players. Two-player split-screen multiplayer is available as well.

The game’s brand new Testing Mode lets players test and tune their cars to suit their needs ahead of each race. Those looking to rise through the ranks to reach the NASCAR Cup Series can delve into the game’s Career Mode instead.

NASCAR Heat 5 will release on July 10, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Dedicated racers looking to hit the tracks a few days early can opt for the Gold Edition instead. The Gold Edition launches on July 7, 2020 and includes exclusive content featuring three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart.
