Following fan speculation, WB Games and Player First Games confirmed during San Diego Comic Con that LeBron James is being added to the MultiVersus character roster next week. The announcement came alongside the release of the character reveal trailer showing LeBron in action, which you can watch below. LeBron will be depicted as his likeness from Space Jam: A New Legacy and will be voiced by John Bentley in MultiVersus.

LeBron is not the only new character coming soon to MultiVersus. Rick & Morty are also being added to the MultiVersus character roster. However, the pair are not slated to arrive until Season 1, which is scheduled to kick off on August 8. No gameplay has been revealed for this dynamic duo just yet.
The early access phase of the MultiVersus Open Beta is currently underway. This is considered the game’s “Preseason,” according to the official website. There is also a Preseason Battle Pass available through August 8 featuring 15 tiers of rewards. MultiVersus will expand into full Open Beta on July 26.
