Electronic Arts will be closing down the online servers for several of its titles, including Mirror’s Edge, Gatling Gears, NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, and Shank 2. The servers for these games will continue running until next year.
Initially reported by TrueAchievements, EA has since confirmed the pending server shutdowns on their Online Service Updates page, which features a list of EA titles that have had their online services shuttered over the years. Mirror’s Edge and the other previously mentioned titles all have shutdown dates scheduled for January 19, 2023.
Several other EA games are slated to have their servers closed down later this year. Among them are two Army of Two games as well as several Command & Conquer titles for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Here are the games that will have their online servers shut down before the end of 2022:
