Microsoft Flight Simulator’s third World Update is scheduled to arrive sometime next week. The UK and Ireland World Update will revamp both places with new airports, photogrammetry cities, points of interest, and more. During a recent developer Q&A livestream, developer Asobo revealed the first in-game footage for the upcoming World Update, giving fans a brief look at the new landmarks and locations coming to the game.
From the looks of it, the UK and Ireland World Update is shaping up to be an impressive makeover for both locations. Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann confirmed during the livestream that the five new photogrammetry cities covered in this update are London, Birmingham, Oxford, Cambridge, and Bristol. The update will also include five new hand-crafted airports for Barra, Land’s End, Liverpool, Manchester-Barton, and Out Skerries.

The UK and Ireland World Update is expected to release sometime during the second week of February 2021, likely around February 9-11.
