Today, developer Ratloop Games Canada and publisher Frontier Foundry announced that the upcoming turn-based strategy shooter Lemnis Gate will release simultaneously on next-generation consoles and PC this summer. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Take a look at the time-bending action in the trailer below.
Lemnis Gate Coming Summer 2021
If you haven’t heard of Lemnis Gate, it is basically Quantum League with a turn-based twist. In Lemnis Gate, players engage in online and local 1v1 and 2v2 matches that take place within time loops. As a turn-based shooter, players take turns executing their plan of attack across five rounds. It’s less about shooting, and more about trying to outwit your opponents.
During their turn, players have 25 seconds to set up traps and attempt to use the time loop to their advantage. Lemnis Gate’s unique “auto co-op” feature allows players to control every member on their side, making 1v1 matches much more eventful than one might expect. Players who can stay a few steps ahead of their opponent have a clear shot at victory.
This non-linear FPS will be available sometime in Summer 2021 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. Those interested in keeping up with Lemnis Gate’s development progress can wishlist he game on Steam and visit the official website for details.
