Among the key features of the new all-white OLED-model Nintendo Switch is its 7-inch OLED screen, a small increase from the 6.2-inch LCD screen on the original Switch. Video output in TV mode remains at 1080p, with up to 720p in handheld and tabletop mode. The new model also features a wider, adjustable stand on the back for added stability during tabletop gaming.

Though the new model will still feature Wi-Fi connectivity, the new OLED model also comes with a LAN port built into the dock, making for a more stable internet connection in docked mode. The internal storage of the Nintendo Switch OLED model comes in at 64 GB, double that of the original Switch.

The Nintendo Switch OLED model will release on October 8, 2021, alongside Metroid Dread. Those looking to switch to the OLED model can purchase the console for $349.99 USD. Head over to the Nintendo website for more information and stay tuned to Guide Stash for updates.
