Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is Finally Coming to Android

Pre-registration for Gwent is available now on Google Play.

The free-to-play digital card game Gwent is finally headed to Android devices. Developer CD Projekt Red made the announcement this week alongside a short release date trailer, which you can watch below.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and iOS devices. Soon, Android users will be able to join in on the fun next month.

For those unfamiliar, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is a standalone adaptation of the in-game card game from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The standalone CCG expands upon the original version with new factions, more cards, and additional ways to build your favorite decks.

With the move to Android comes the addition of cross-play as well. Android players will be able to cross-play with PC and iOS users, which should help widen the total player base. The game is also integrated with GOG, meaning you can make purchases and share your game progress on the GOG.com website.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game will be available for Android devices on March 24, 2020. Pre-registration is available now on Google Play. Those who pre-register will also receive a special Imperial Golem avatar for the Android version of the game. Pre-registering also allows you to get notified when the game officially goes live in the Google Play store. Head over to the official Gwent website for further details.
