At long last, Santa Monica Studio has revealed the official release date for God of War Ragnarök, the highly anticipated sequel to 2018’s God of War. The announcement came via the PlayStation Blog, where pre-order details are also available. Alongside the release date, Santa Monica Studio also debuted a new cinematic trailer featuring Kratos and Atreus. You can watch the new “Father and Son” trailer below.

God of War Ragnarök releases on November 9, 2022 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles. Pre-orders will begin next week on July 15 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Several editions of the game, both physical and digital, will be available for pre-order. Details on the contents of each edition are available on this PlayStation Blog post.
Those who pre-purchase God of War Ragnarök will receive the Launch Edition, which comes with in-game armor and cosmetic items for Kratos and Atreus. The other editions include the Digital Deluxe Edition, Collector’s Edition, and the Jötnar Edition, which each feature some awesome looking goodies of their own.
