During a special livestream presentation today, Ubisoft revealed Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds, a new expansion coming to PC and consoles next month. The expansion presents a new story that follows Far Cry 6 protagonist Dani Rojas. The official announcement trailer for the expansion is available below as well as on YouTube.
Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds Announcement Trailer
Lost Between Worlds takes place in a fractured version of Yara that features an assortment of challenges for players to overcome, from deadly traps to crystalline enemies called Shardfaces. Here is how the expansion is described according to the official website:
The expansion will release on December 6, 2022 for $19.99 USD and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 consoles as well as PC via Ubisoft Connect, Ubisoft+, and Epic Games Store. Those who own the Far Cry 6 Game of the Year Upgrade Pass will be granted access to the expansion at launch.
Ubisoft also announced a free trial for Far Cry 6 that allows players to try out the game before buying. The trial is set in Isla Santuario and includes the first seven missions of the game. Progress made during the trial will carry over to the full version of the game after purchasing.
