Do your part to deliver precious cargo during the World of Trucks Hauling Hope event.

This week, SCS Software kicked off the Hauling Hope event for the World of Trucks online community. The event is available to all drivers playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.

The World of Trucks Hauling Hope event aims to recognize the drivers and crews working hard to deliver vaccines around the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event tasks drivers with delivering the fragile cargo undamaged. Successful vaccine cargo deliveries will require Fragile Cargo Skill Level 1, according to the SCS Software blog. “This event is a chance to take part in delivering something more than just a cargo, it’s a chance to deliver hope to the world, if only virtually.”

To participate in the Hauling Hope event, players must first have either a Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator profile linked to the World of Trucks platform. Using External Contracts, players will need to achieve a personal goal of at least seven undamaged vaccine deliveries. Doing so will reward players with a World of Trucks achievement as well as a Hope Trucker Insignia cabin item that can hang inside your truck.

The World of Trucks Hauling Hope event is currently underway and will wrap up on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Participants are encouraged to share screenshots of their delivery progress on social media using the #HaulingHope hashtag.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012)
PC (Microsoft Windows)

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a vehicle simulation game developed and published by SCS Software for Microsoft Windows and Linux and was initially released as open development on October 19, 2012. The game is a direct sequel to the 2008 game Euro Truck Simulator and it is second video game in Euro Truck Simulator series. Set in Europe, the player can drive one of a choice of articulated trucks across a depiction of Europe, picking up cargo from various locations and delivering it. As the game progresses, it is possible for the player to buy more vehicles, depots, and hire drivers to work for them. Despite the name, players can also choose to deliver cargo in the USA.
