Elden Ring developer FromSoftware released a small hotfix for the game earlier this week that addresses several issues that arose as a result of the previous 1.04 patch update. The most recent patch brings the game to version 1.04.1 and is available on all platforms.
According to Bandai Namco’s updated patch notes, the recent patch fixes a bug that occurs when battling Malenia, Blade of Miquella. The bug allowed Malenia to continuously heal herself during online multiplayer. This end-game boss was already hard enough to beat, so this comes as a welcome fix.
The hotfix also addresses a bug pertaining to the effect duration of the Cerulean Hidden Tear. The issue had already been acknowledged upon the release of the previous patch. Thanks to the latest hotfix, it seems the item is now working as intended.
Below are the full hotfix patch notes for Elden Ring update version 1.04.1.
