Multiplayer fighting arenas are coming to Elden Ring this week, according to an announcement today from the game’s official social channels. The Colosseum Update will arrive tomorrow, December 7, 2022, free for all Elden Ring players. You can catch the announcement below.
Elden Ring Free Colosseum Update
The Colosseum update opens the gates to the locked colosseums that are found in each major region in Elden Ring. “The Colosseums of Limgrave, Leyndell and Caelid will open their gates, allowing players to engage in battles such as duels, free-for-alls and team fights,” says the latest news post on the Elden Ring Steam page. “Prove your worth in the free Colosseum Update. Coming December 7.”
Based on the trailer, the update will include new PvP modes for players to compete in alone or alongside friends. No patch notes have been released for the update yet and no further details were given regarding the update. Elden Ring players should prepare to update their game on December 7 to see what the Colosseum Update has in store.
