Media Molecule has released a free demo for Dreams, and it's available now on the PlayStation Store.
The developers at Media Molecule kicked off May by announcing a free demo of their community-led game, Dreams. The Dreams demo is available now on the PlayStation Store. What’s more, the developers are gearing up to release a new video series covering the ups and downs of game development.
Download the Dreams Demo
The Dreams demo features a playlist that highlights some of the developer’s favorite Dreams creations. The free demo also includes the first 20 minutes of Art’s Dream, a musical narrative adventure from Media Molecule.
If there are creations in the Dreams demo that you’d like to return to later, you can add those dreams to your Play Later queue. Those creations will be ready to play in the full version of the game. Purchasing the full game also lets you pick up where you left off in the musical adventure and will allow you to experience the full breadth of creations made by the Dreams community. The full version of Dreams is available for $39.99.
New Video Series
Alongside the demo announcement, Media Molecule has also released a teaser for their upcoming “Dreaming With…” video series. The video series features multiple interviews and talks with game developers about the challenges of making games. The series launches on May 15 and will include creators from studios like Naughty Dog, Insomniac, and more. You can check out the series teaser in the video below.
