DOOM 3: VR Edition Trailer

Originally released in 2004, DOOM 3 puts players in the role of The Doom Marine. You are tasked with slaying the forces of Hell that have overrun a UAC facility. The VR Edition will feature enhancements that make the gameplay more conducive to VR. These enhancements include 180-degree quick-turn functionality and the ability to peer around corners. Players will also have a wrist-mounted gadget that displays your health, armor, and ammunition levels.

DOOM 3: VR Edition is a complete version of the original game, meaning it will include both the Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission expansions. The VR Edition will feature new textures, shaders, and sound effects to truly immerse players in the demon-slaying carnage.

DOOM 3: VR Edition launches on March 29 for PS VR owners on PlayStation 4. The game will arrive before the release of Sony’s next-gen VR system for PlayStation 5. However, PS VR owners can still play DOOM 3: VR Edition on PS5 through backward compatibility. Stay tuned to Guide Stash for more VR updates.
