It has been 15 years since gamers got to don the spacesuit of Crypto in Destroy All Humans! With the game’s release just around the corner, publisher THQ Nordic has revealed a new teaser for a special mission in the upcoming remake.
Destroy All Humans! Lost Mission Teaser
The “lost mission” is a previously unreleased mission hidden deep within the code of the original game. The developers at Black Forest Games have since restored this mission for the remake, allowing fans to experience this classified level for the first time. The teaser takes us to Area 42, where Crypto has apparently infiltrated a military base.
In the Destroy All Humans! remake, you play as Crypto, an alien tasked to save his species by invading Earth and collecting ancient DNA from humans. Fans have been asking for a remake for quite some time. Their pleas have not gone unnoticed.
The Destroy All Humans! remake releases on July 28 and is available for pre-order on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Several special editions are available, including the Crypto-137 Edition and DNA Collector’s Edition. If you would like to try out Destroy All Humans! ahead of the game’s launch, you can play the free PC demo over on Steam or GOG.
