The Dawning has made its annual return to Destiny 2, bringing snowball fights, holiday gifts, and baked goodies to Guardians everywhere. The in-game event also introduces Zephyr, the first Stasis-powered Sword available in Destiny 2.

The Dawning kicked off earlier today, December 14, and will continue until January 4, 2022. The free event features a collectible resource called Dawning Spirit, which players can earn by baking holiday treats and giving gifts during the event. Players who earn enough Dawning Spirit can obtain a new Exotic ship from Eva Levante.
Players can also get the game’s first Stasis-powered Sword, Zephyr, during The Dawning. It’s an event-exclusive weapon that will be available as a drop to those who complete various quests from Eva. Those looking for more holiday goodies can hit up Tess Everis, who offers a new universal ornament set for each class in the Eververse store.
The Dawning arrives amidst Bungie’s ongoing 30th Anniversary celebration in Destiny 2, which features a new matchmade activity as well as a limited-time DLC pack. Stay tuned for more Destiny 2 news and updates.
