Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be at E3 2019

Cyberpunk 2077 will be heading to E3 this year, to once again tempt us with its delicious neon soaked visuals, and dystopian narrative.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be at E3 later this year. CD Projekt Red will bring it to the year’s biggest gaming industry showcase, as confirmed by the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account.

First announced in May 2012, Cyberpunk 2077 has been one of the industry’s most anticipated games for a few years now. Following a teaser trailer in January 2013, interest in the game exploded. This was partly because of developer CD Projekt Red’s recent success with The Witcher 3. Since those early days, we have learned a lot about the game, and interest just keeps on growing.

Cyberpunk 2077 will put you in the shoes of a protagonist known only as V. You will play out their adventures in the sprawling Night City. Drawing from the grim technologically-focused dystopia of the original Cyberpunk roleplaying game, it will allow you to build the type of hero you want to play.

Create a superbly talented soldier and go in all guns blazing. Or, maybe you will become a renowned hacker, and reduce your enemies cyber-security to a shambles. The game will also contain all the usual RPG mechanics you can think of. This means upgrade paths for your character and colored loot that provides all kinds of benefits.

Night City itself is made up of six different regions that you will explore. They will all provide different social and political challenges for the player. Tough talk and quick trigger fingers will get the job done in the gang-infested Pacifica region. The affluent Westbrook area will require a different set of skills to succeed.

Hopefully, we get to see a whole lot more of the game at E3 this year. Are you looking forward to exploring Night City?
