Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition Launches in December

Some physical versions of the Ultimate Edition will contain download codes for game content depending on platform.

On Tuesday, CD Projekt Red announced the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, which includes the base game, Phantom Liberty expansion, and previous game updates all rolled into one. The Ultimate Edition arrives for Windows PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 both digitally and physically on December 5, 2023.

It is important to note that the Xbox version is the only one that will have all of the game content available on-disc. The Xbox Series X version of the bundle will include three discs containing the base game and Phantom Liberty expansion. On PlayStation 5, the physical edition will include a game disc with Cyberpunk 2077 and a PlayStation Store code to redeem for the expansion. The PC version will have GOG codes for all content. According to a post on X by CD Projekt Red Global Community Director Marcin Momot, “The reason for the difference in how the Phantom Liberty is included in the Ultimate Edition is due to technical requirements specific to each platform.”

The Ultimate Edition will be the first physical edition of Cyberpunk 2077 on current generation consoles. Previously, physical editions of the game had only come to PS4 and Xbox One. Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition costs $59.99 USD and is now available for pre-order at certain retailers. Stay tuned to Guide Stash for more Cyberpunk 2077 news and updates.
