Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Expansion Secures September Release Date

Pre-orders grant access to a new in-game vehicle and are available now.

During the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, a new trailer for the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion revealed the official release date for the upcoming DLC while showing off new gameplay footage.

According to the trailer, players can delve into the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion on September 26, 2023 on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The expansion costs $29.99 USD and requires the Cyberpunk 2077 base game in order to play. Pre-orders are available now and doing so will grant early in-game access to the Quadra Sport R-7 “Vigilante” vehicle.

In Phantom Liberty, players will once again step into the shoes of V, the renowned cyberpunk for hire, as they embark on a dangerous mission to rescue the President of the New United States of America. The trailer offers a closer look at FIA agent Solomon Reed, portrayed by the talented Idris Elba. Keanu Reeves will also reprise his role as rockerboy Johnny Silverhand.

Alongside new missions, Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty introduces various new gameplay features, including an array of quests, gigs, and gig types, along with new cybernetic upgrades and weaponry.
