No need to break out the calendar. PAX West 2019 runs from August 30 through September 2. Fans have a couple months to wait before they can feast their collective eyes on this year’s Cyberpunk 2077 E3 demo. CD Projekt Red utilized the same release pattern last year for the game’s first behind-closed-doors gameplay demo. The developer revealed hands-off gameplay during E3, then released the footage to the public a few months later.
The extended gameplay demo lasted roughly 50 minutes and featured additional footage of Reeves’s iconic character, Johnny Silverhand, who appears as the player’s cybernetic companion. The gameplay also showcased both male and female versions of the player character, V. Cyberpunk 2077 releases on April 16, 2020 for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, as well as PC via Steam and GOG.
