The first major content update for indie base-builder Cult of the Lamb is scheduled to arrive sometime in early 2023, according to a recent announcement from developer Massive Monster. The Relics of the Old Faith DLC will feature new enemies and challenges for players to enjoy.
One of the new gameplay features being introduced in Relics of the Old Faith is the Heavy Attack, which adds more ways to fend off enemies during combat. Each weapon will feature its own Heavy Attack that can be either melee or ranged.
While there is no set release date for Relics of the Old Faith, the DLC is expected to release in early 2023, which is sometime in the next couple of months. Despite not having a release date for the first DLC, the team at Massive Monster is already looking ahead toward the second content update, which reportedly will be coming mid-year and “will focus on adding depth and detail to your Cult management gameplay.”
