Biomutant Release Date and Collector’s Editions Announced

The post-apocalyptic action RPG will be coming to PC and current-gen consoles in May.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard news about the upcoming open-world RPG, Biomutant. The most recent update was a gameplay trailer released back in June 2020. Today, publisher THQ Nordic announced that Biomutant will release on consoles and PC this May. Two collector’s editions of the game are now available for pre-order.

Biomutant will release for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 25, 2021. To refresh your memory, Biomutant is a third-person, open-world RPG that features a unique martial arts-style combat system that uses a combination of shooting, melee, and special abilities. You play as a mutant creature living in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by plague. Exposure to biotoxins throughout the environment can lead to mutations that change your appearance and attributes. You’ll also learn Wung-Fu combat forms from fighting masters you meet throughout your journey.

Two physical collector’s editions for Biomutant are now available for pre-order: the Biomutant Collector’s Edition and the Atomic Edition. The Biomutant Collector’s Edition costs $109.99 for the PC version and $119.99 for the console version. The Atomic Edition is priced quite a bit higher at $399.99 across the board. The contents of both editions are listed below.
