Baldur’s Gate 3 Early Access Release Planned for August 2020

If all goes to plan, Baldur's Gate 3 will launch into early access on PC this August.

The developers at Larian Studios have been hard at work on Baldur’s Gate 3 since the game was announced during E3 2019. The upcoming sequel is now expected to release into early access this August, assuming everything goes according to plan.

Many industries have been affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic, and the gaming industry is no exception. However, the team at Larian have continued to work on Baldur’s Gate 3 after shifting to a work-from-home model. The game is scheduled to hit early access sometime in August, though the release window is still tentative.

The video outlines the changes that have been made to the game since PAX East. The developers will continue to improve the game based on community feedback throughout the early access phase.
