Assassin’s Creed Valhalla won’t be out for a few more weeks, but that hasn’t stopped Ubisoft from setting our sights on the future. The developer recently gave players a look at the Season Pass and post-launch content coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in a new trailer that you can watch below.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass Trailer
The Season Pass contains two expansions for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids (Spring 2021) and The Siege of Paris (Summer 2021). In the first expansion, Wrath of the Druids, players will make their way to Ireland to uncover details about a mysterious druidic cult. In the second expansion, The Siege of Paris, players will take part in a recreation of one of the most iconic battles in Viking history.
Season Pass owners will be able to dive into each expansion in-game when they become available next year. The Season Pass also includes an exclusive quest called The Legend of Beowulf which, as you can guess, explores the truth behind the Beowulf legend.
Players will also have access to free seasonal content that includes in-game events and new story content. Season One kicks off in December 2020 and will feature the traditional Viking Yule festival, a new game mode, and other new content. Each season will last for three months, with the second season starting in March 2021. The Season Pass will be available as a standalone purchase for $49.99, or as part of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gold, Ultimate, and Collector’s Editions.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla releases on November 10, 2020 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Stadia. The game will also be available on PS5 when the console launches on November 12.
