Following a brief delay, the first major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is finally here. The Wrath of the Druids DLC releases tomorrow for players on consoles and PC. The upcoming expansion takes players to Ireland, where they must face an ancient druidic cult called the Children of Danu. A new trailer for the Wrath of the Druids expansion is available below.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids Trailer
Wrath of the Druids takes players to 9th century Ireland, where they will embark on a mission to unite warring factions at the behest of the High King of Ireland, Flann Sinna. The new region includes the city of Dublin as well as three provinces for players to explore, along with historical landmarks including Tara Hill, the Giant’s Causeway, and Ben Bulben.
The Wrath of the Druids expansion releases on May 13, 2021 for all available platforms. Players must first reach England and complete either the Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire narrative arcs before accessing the expansion. There is also no power level requirement to play the DLC. Players can buy the Wrath of the Druids expansion as a standalone purchase for $34.99. Those who own the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass will have immediate access to the expansion at launch.
