Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Expansion Coming in March

The upcoming Dawn of Ragnarok expansion will be available separately from the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla season pass.

On Monday, Ubisoft announced that Dawn of Ragnarok, the next major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will release next year. Ubisoft also announced Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories, a special crossover that offers new story content for players of both Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The Crossover Stories will be available for free starting tomorrow, December 14.

In Dawn of Ragnarok, Eivor must embark on a rescue mission following the imprisonment of Odin’s son, Baldr. A new cinematic trailer offering a glimpse of what the expansion has in store is available below.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok Trailer

The Dawn of Ragnarok expansion will launch on March 10, 2022 and will not be part of the season pass for Valhalla. Instead, Ragnarok will be available as a separate purchase for $49.99 USD for those who own the main game. Additionally, those who buy Dawn of Ragnarok from now until April 9, 2022 will get the Twilight Pack, which includes bonus items and gear. Here’s what the Twilight Pack comes with:

Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories

As for the Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories, two new stories will be available starting December 14, one in Valhalla and the other in Odyssey, and will be free to owners of either game. The stories will delve into the connections between the two games and will feature new environments for players to explore. Title updates will be deployed for both Valhalla and Odyssey to facilitate the Crossover Stories launch.
