Assassin’s Creed Mirage Extended Gameplay Revealed

Stealth, combat, and traversal are the highlights of the latest gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

During the Ubisoft Forward showcase on Monday, the publisher revealed a new gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. While the initial gameplay for Mirage was revealed just weeks ago, today’s footage offers an extended look at Mirage‘s combat and stealth along with developer commentary to provide context. Mirage is said to pay homage to the original game by taking the series back to its roots, and the latest trailer helps give fans a look into what that means in terms of gameplay.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Gameplay Walkthrough

The new gameplay trailer offers a closer look at the game’s traversal and stealth mechanics. The extended footage shows Basim, the main character in Mirage, trekking across rooftops and through the streets of Baghdad, silently taking down targets along the way.

The gameplay walkthrough features nearly eight minutes of footage from Mirage, showcasing a mix of combat, stealth, and traversal. The trailer also features some other characters that Basim meets on his journey, including Roshan, Basim’s mentor and fellow Hidden One.

Alongside the extended footage, Ubisoft has released an additional gameplay breakdown video featuring developer commentary from Creative Director Stéphane Boudon and Art Director Jean-Luc Sala, which you can watch below as well as on the Ubisoft YouTube channel.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage releases on October 12, 2023 for PC as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Pre-orders are available now for the various editions of the game.
