America Truck Simulator Opens up Washington State in New DLC

Washington State is now part of American Truck Simulator in its latest DLC. SCS Software also surprised us with a new Forest Machinery DLC adding new cargo and jobs.

In the midst of all the ongoing hype from E3 2019, it can be daunting to release new content. SCS Software, however, isn’t fazed and has released American Truck Simulator’s latest DLC today. Washington will take truckers North for the first time and into the lush forests of Washington State. Alongside the new state to explore, truckers were surprised by the new Forest Machinery DLC which offers unique new jobs and cargo to haul.

American Truck Simulator: Washington

The Washington expansion completes the west coast of the United States, as truckers can now go from southern California all the way to the Canadian border. Washington, known as the “Evergreen State,” offers truckers a lovely green and lush environment to travel through. Snowcapped mountain ranges, large areas of fruit and vegetable farms, thick forests, and busy cities, including Seattle and Spokane, offer new challenges.

The list of features in the Washington DLC includes:

  • Washington’s iconic mountains (Mount St. Helens and Mt. Rainier)

  • Dynamic speed limits and LED signs
  • New unique cargoes: aircraft engines, saddle-mounted truck transport, boats, and more
  • Large and realistic ports (Seattle, Tacoma, Everett)
  • Many unique junctions
  • Distinct company docks: yacht builders, vast farms, material storages…
