While SCS Software has just released its latest Euro Truck Simulator 2 expansion, Iberia, the American Truck Simulator team is hard at work on two upcoming map expansions: Texas and Wyoming. In today’s blog post, SCS highlights the importance of Wyoming’s vast railroad system and how it will impact your trucking jobs in the future.
Truckers will not only see many railroads following alongside the Wyoming highways, but will also be tasked with many transportation jobs that relate to the industry. Wyoming features some of the USA’s largest rail yards, many of which will become frequent stops on your journey to grow your virtual trucking company.
Players can also expect to stop at many construction sites that expand Wyoming’s railroad network, expecting deliveries of valuable materials and supplies. Hopefully, you won’t be bothered by the frequent railroad crossings, but you can always enjoy the scenery while you wait to catch a glimpse of the UP Big Boy 4014 from Pomona, the world’s largest steam locomotive.
A release date for American Truck Simulator Wyoming isn’t available yet, but you can add it to your wishlist on Steam while you wait. The future looks bright for American Truck Simulator as the Texas expansion is also under development, promising many new miles of virtual trucking.
