A Plague Tale: Innocence Gameplay Trailer
A Plague Tale: Innocence is a grim adventure set in medieval France during the time of the Inquisition. The game follows Amicia and Hugo, a pair of siblings who must work together to evade the Inquisition. As rats swarm the plague-ridden streets, players must use their wits to maneuver through the environment unscathed. Along the way, the two will meet other young survivors, including those who have been orphaned during the war.
Hearing the clamor of the rats amidst the dark alleyways is admittedly quite unsettling. However, the rats are more than just a way to make your skin crawl. They also play a role in influencing the movements of enemies, which we see in the gameplay trailer through Amicia’s strategic use of light. Players will have to use their environment to their advantage if they are to stay out of the Inquisition’s grasp.
“It is an emotional tale packed with mystery, intrigue, and swarming, as ever, with rats,” says Asobo Studios about their debut IP. Pre-orders are available now for A Plague Tale: Innocence, which will release on May 14, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Also, those who pre-order will receive bonus DLC that includes three alternative outfits and coat of arms for Amicia and Hugo.
